Lead Dust Inspections

Legacy lead-based paint in homes is considered the largest source on average of lead exposure in children. Our inspections entail:

1. Visual inspection to check the condition of the paint in the residence

2. Interior dust sample collection  

3. Lab analysis on the collected samples by an EPA certified testing facility for hazardous levels of lead-contaminated dust

4. Lead report and lead-safe certificate (subject to lab results) 

Results are available within 3 - 5 days, but may be expedited upon request.  Rental properties can obtain a Lead Safe Certificate through this service per the City of Philadelphia Rental Property Lead Certification Law requirements.
